The high-quality Kumo No Shiro matcha comes from Uji, Japan’s oldest tea-growing region, specifically from the renowned Shohokuen Tea Estate. The Japanese name Kumo No Shiro means “white of the cloud,” and the tea features a soft umami flavor with delicate sweetness. Carefully stone-ground using traditional methods, this matcha is perfect for tea ceremonies or for special moments in everyday life.
Preparation tip:
Rinse the matcha bowl and bamboo whisk (chasen) with hot water. Sift 1 teaspoon of matcha into the bowl and add approximately 80 ml of water at about 80 °C (176 °F). Whisk thoroughly until the tea becomes smooth and velvety.
Each tin contains 30 g of matcha powder. Store opened tin in the refrigerator.
