Darjeeling tea

Darjeeling tea is a high-quality and highly esteemed tea grown in the Darjeeling region of India, on the slopes of the Himalayas. It is known for its refined flavor, which varies depending on the season and harvest year.

The first harvest, or "Darjeeling first flush," usually takes place between late February and mid-April. This spring plucking produces young, highly aromatic tea with a notably floral, light, and delicate flavor.

The Darjeeling second flush is the summer harvest, occurring between May and June. Teas from the second flush have a fuller, more vibrant aroma and a stronger character than those from the first flush.
